This program focuses on students taking charge of their learning by starting a Student Advisory Planning Team at their school. It can be as easy as reaching out to your school's admin to figure out who currently runs the advisory lessons. Following that, helping the teacher by pitching in ideas can help the student body have more guided presentations about what they want to see in their advisory lessons. Currently, our club is able to bring awareness not only to what is happening in the school, but also future events and events regarding the outside world. Additionally, this breakout will not only be about how to create a chapter of SAPT, but also how to write informative lessons that will engage with the student body and the importance of taking charge of your education.
